UMF™ (Unique Mānuka Factor)

The UMF™ system assesses key markers including MGO for potency, leptosperin for authenticity, DHA for shelf life and HMF for freshness. A UMF™ 15+ rating indicates a higher concentration of Mānuka-specific compounds.

MGO (Methylglyoxal)
MGO is a naturally occurring compound found in Mānuka honey and is used as an important measure of its potency. The MGO rating indicates the minimum concentration of methylglyoxal present in the honey. CATALO UMF™ 15+ Mānuka Honey provides MGO 512+.

Directions

Enjoy 1–2 teaspoons daily. Take directly from the spoon or add to your favourite foods and beverages.
