DEHYDRATION AFFECTS PHYSICAL PERFORMANCE AND WELLBEING

After just one hour of exercise, endurance athletes commonly experience dehydration levels leading to reduced performance. A loss of 2% - 7% of body mass (through Sweat) is common in longer events and consistantly reduces exercise performance across all areas of endurance.

Declines in performance are linked to higher core temperature, heart rate and ratings of perceived exertion. Even moderate dehydration due to heat exposure or exercise has been shown to decrease alertness, concentration and performance, increased fatigue, tiredness and headaches.

Endura Rehydration Performance Fuel features a specialised electrolyte profile designed for maximum performance rehydration. Rehydration Performance Fuel contains sodium and potassium at levels recommended by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) to maximise hydration and performance in endurance athletes.

Directions for use

During exercise (Isotonic): Take 1 rounded scoop (25 g) with 350 mL of water. Drink 1 to 2 doses 30 minutes before exercise and one dose during each hour of exercise (up to four doses per day) or as directed by a healthcare professional.

In preparation for exercise/magnesium and carbohydrate loading (Hypertonic): Take 1 rounded scoop (25 g) with 200 mL of water. Drink one dose three times per day, 2 to 3 days before an event to maximise muscle magnesium and endurance.

For daily hydration (Isotonic): Take 1 rounded scoop (25 g) with 350 mL of water. Take as required, up to four doses per day, or take as directed by a healthcare professional.

 

Each dose (25 g) contains 375 kJ (90 cal) of energy.

The maximum recommended daily dose (100 g) contains 248 mg of sodium.

Excipients: Maltodextrin, fructose, malic acid, natural colours, natural and nature identical flavours.

No added artificial flavouring, colouring and preservatives. Free from gluten, wheat, dairy, lactose, soy, casein, sucrose, eggs and yeast.

Do not use if cap and/or bottle seals are missing or broken. This product is sold by weight not volume. Some settling may occur.Store below 30°C.
